Hello and Welcome to Orion Online Learning Incorporated.

In 2007, we opened our first online high school, Orion High School, and opened our headquarters office in Midland, Texas. In 2010 we earned accreditation with Southern Association of Colleges and Schools and later in 2016 we added the Association of Christian Teachers and Schools to our accreditations.  Orion High School is in its 16th school year this year.

Our company was founded on the sound principles of one-on-one mentoring  and learning.  We hold steadfast to those principles.  Since our early days, we saw the need for flexible, high quality digital learning, that would enable learners to truly engage in high quality content while being guided by a certified, competent professional teacher – we call them mentors.  Our strategy for success has always been a one-on-one approach to learning – meaning that we truly believe that learning has no bounds; and that learners can engage in learning conversations with their mentors, through a structured one-on-one approach through that learning.  To that end, we remember utilizing web technologies in those early days – many of those are still around today; however, we believe we revolutionized the use of learner engagement, and, to this day, we stay focused on the engagement of our learners through their own progression of learning and understanding.  You may notice our core beliefs in another section of our site – those are real heart-held beliefs that still hold true to us, and that guide our work as digital learning continues to emerge in this field.

Together with our partners in Singapore, we sought approval by our Governing Board, to establish the All Gifted School (AGS).  AGS is headquartered in Singapore and serves learners from that region (Asia Pacific), including Singapore, Malaysia, and the surrounding areas.  AGS operates under our Governing Board, but is independent in their headquarters operations.  AGS earned dual accreditation in 2018 under the Middle States Commission and the Association of Christian Teachers and Schools.  Kang Song Lim and Pamela Lim, the founders, sit as partners on the Orion Online Learning Inc., Governing Board, and as sister schools, we share our mentors and our curriculum/content.  AGS graduates are required to meet the same diploma eligibility requirements as Orion High School.

In 2021, we added the New Mexico Trinity Prep school, as a school mainly focused on providing digital learning for students in New Mexico, but that school can serve any other student as well.  In New Mexico, NMTP strives to create a pathway for New Mexico graduates to enter into higher education through the New Mexico Opportunity Scholarship (college for all).  NMTP operations are at Orion Headquarters, including admissions and records.

In 2022, Orion Online Learning became a candidate for a system accreditation with the Middle States Commission.  In that realm, we are seeking to bring continuity of service among all system schools, along with a common mission and vision for digital education that stands above all other similar institutions.

In 2023, Orion Online Learning, Inc. earned Accredited status as a system of schools, by the Middle States Commission.  That accreditation is through 2030.
